#someonetellcnn: Kenyans on Twitter vs CNN

12 Mar

It could have been a case of Goliath verses David but a sling and a small soft stone led to death of Goliath. The Kenyans on twitter waged a war on twitter, facebook, youtube and other social networkss demanding an apology from CNN for claiming that Violence had broken out in Kenya after the Machakos Country Bus grenade attack where five people died and fifty others injured.

The CNN reporter in Nairobi, Mckenzie did apologise and the offensive video was pulled down online, but that was not enough as the protest continued with Kenyans demanding that an apology should be issued on air just like they made the error.

Not everybody wanted an apology, but compensation for defaming the country. With some calling for Brand Kenya to sue CNN.

Apart from a brief story in The Daily Nation not a single Kenyan Media house mention the story which leads me to question their patriotism.
