These are truely Kenyan sandles.

Akala are sandles made out of old car tyres typically and originally worn by the pastrolist communities in Kenya but has been adopted most recently by the fashionistas in the urban areas.

Once associated with poverty Akala sandles are now one of the the original inventions coming out of Kenya and is worn by different class of individuals.

Akala sandles come in Different shapes and sizes. Also it designs can be plain simple or with more features according to taste and preference of the warer.

Price depends on its make, decoration and location but are generally cheap and lasts longer giving one value for the money spent on it.

My new shoes. I think every environmental-minded person should get a pair of these trendy foot wares.
