Trouble at NTV

16 Nov

Trouble is brewing at NTV. Having lost Mohamed Ali barely tree months after he joined, and several other employees to Standard Group.

Linda Ogutu has also quit the Nation Media Group and is headed to the Standard Group. The announcement came from on her twitter handle:

@lindahoguttu … Just made a final exit from NTV. Am grateful for all the support I have received from different quarters……Let me begin a new journey.

Ogutu will be headed to KTN to be part of the new team expected to revive the TV channel that nearly collapsed. She will be working under her former colleague Joe Ageyo, who is headed to KTN to be the head of broadcasting services.

Now KTN presents.

John Allan Namu might be leaving the station for KTN; where he came from soon too. There has been a lot of speculation regarding this since the coming on board of Standard Group’s new CEO Sam Shollei.

Mohammed Ali just came short of confirming Allan Namu’s departure from NTV through his tweeter handle. He retweeted a tweet by KTN cameraman Martin Kiio, which implied that Namu is actually headed to Mombasa road.
