Jeff Koinange finally quits K24. The Capital Talk host is leaving Mediamax’s K24 and is headed to South Africa to assume the role of Chief anchor and reporter for Arise Africa, a post he formerly held with CNN at the new Arise Television Network, a new international TV station that will broadcast all over the world and is owned by Nigerian Nduka Obaigbena.

Back in September there were rumours that Jeff had been offered a million dollar contract to leave K24 and set base in either South Africa or London and that he would be making close to Ksh.80 million a year at his new base, at the new TV network.

Jeff’s show, “Capital Talk”, lifted K24’s profile greatly and his departure might end that great run.
