Mark Masai Quits CCTV for NTV

24 Jan

imagesMark Masai is back ta NTV after resigning from CCTV.

He confirmed this on his twitter account, where he wrote, “First day back at NTV and I feel welcomed by the @ntvkenya team. Thank you,@CCTV-Africa for your blessings in this new path. God-speed.”

This is a reprieve to the station that has lost most of its top anchors to Mombasa Road based rival Standard Group.

Nation Media Group in the past few months has lost John Allan Namu, James Smart, Linda Ogutu, Mohammed Ali, Joe Ageyo among others to KTN immediately after  CCTV had swept top talents from Kenya media houses who included; Mark Masai,  Robert Nagila, Beatrice Marshall and Terryanne Chebet.

NTV is slowly picking up as seen by the return of  Larry Madowo from CNBC Africa taking up the trend from James Smart, in December and now Mark Masai.
